Park Row

The magic of Park Row!! Where do I start? What an absolutely amazing evening filled with lots of surprises🧙🏻‍♀️

This is a Batman- Gotham immersive restaurant experience and wow they have gone all out!

The evening starters with an edible helium balloon that actually floats!!!🎈 We ordered the secret “Blue Boy” cocktail that isn’t on the menu and comes in a picture frame 🖼 The incredible bar with the penguin 🐧 and of course the amazing live band with the wonderful @anniegracesings singing!

We had an amazing meal! First course: Hand cut tagliatelle with forest mushrooms, garlic and parmesan. Sides: Sautèed chestnut mushrooms in garlic butter and tenderstem broccoli with garlic and chilli. Dessert: “THE RUINS OF GOTHAM CITY” Calamansi and chocolate layered cake, chocolate crumb, chocolate and calamansi sorbet and a lovely surprise at the end

Absolutely incredible, we would highly recommend. Enjoy some pictures and videos below:

Venice, Italy

Hey guys!

I am changing the contents of my blog!

Myself and my boyfriend are starting a blog & insta (@comegetlostwithus_) to document our travels☺️ We love to get away and explore, so this page will showcase our trips and what we get up to along the way.

Our next holiday is in 2 months, our first one since Covid! We are restarting our travels off with a bang, staying at the incredible Sandals Resorts (Sandals Royal) in Barbados.

In the meantime, here is the start of our throwback Venice series. We had a fantastic stay at the NH Venezia Rio Novo, our room was lovely and we had many a fun evening in the bar. Myself and my boyfriend love history, so whilst in Venice we downloaded an app called “Rick Steves Audio Europe” to help show us around all the key historic areas in Venice. Completing the: St Marks Basilica Tour, St Marks Square Tour and S. Maria Gloriosa Dei Frari Tour.  St Marks Basilica and S. Maria Gloriosa Dei Frari were two of the most beautiful buildings we have ever seen, they were absolutely breathtaking.

Two of our favourite evenings activities were: Skyline Roof Bar (you need to get a boat across to Giudecca where we enjoyed the “best view in Venice” according to Lonely Planet! Seeing panoramic views across Venice and Giudecca Canal. Very dressy, lovely cocktails and we even got to witness a very romantic proposal! The second activity we throughly enjoyed was Escape Venice ASD, we love an Escape Room and try to complete one every time we go away on holiday- very fun!

We walked ALOT, we ate ALOT and had the best time. Italy we will be back very soon.

Enjoy the pictures from our trip:

Dubai

I went back to Dubai in November to see my Lizzie! As always she took me to some of the most beautiful beach clubs and showed me around key tourist attractions. This time we didn't just stay in Dubai, we stayed in Abu Dhabi for a night and visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, it can hold up to 31,000 people and the outside has the most incredible flower marble floor. Liz also took me to Zero Gravity and  back to some of our normal favourite spots like Cove beach, ToyRoom, Pier 7 which has 7 different bars and restaurants on Dubai Marina. We also visited White Dubai which is an open air nightclub on top of Dubai race course and the Atlantis Hotel Waterpark which was incredible fun. Here are some of my highlights in pictures.

Dubai

I've had a break from blogging for a little while. I have Graduated from University, got my first full time job and just had the most incredible holiday to Dubai. So I am officially back and ready to share my holiday.

My best friend Lizzie moved to Dubai 7 months ago to work as an Air Hostess for Emirates Airline, so I obviously had to pay her a visit. She took me to some of the most beautiful beach clubs, showed me around key tourist attractions such as Dubai Mall, the Burj Khalifa (the tallest building in the world), the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah Hotel and to some insane nightclubs. I honestly cant wait to go back (is it bad I’m already looking at flights?!) Here are some of my highlights in pictures.

CHANEL EXHIBITION: MADEMOISELLE PRIVÉ.

I went to this Exhibition a few months ago, but forgot to blog about it! In October I visited MADEMOISELLE PRIVÉ, an exhibition showing the journey through Chanel’s creations, it was at the Saatchi Gallery and I went with my mum and sister. Chanel the brand and Karl Lagerfeld have been such an inspiration to me, so being able to walk through his creations was amazing. Each room had its own theme and was decorated accordingly. My favorite rooms were: the perfumery which had moving, smoking bowls of perfume, it was very dramatic and the room was filled with the smell of Chanel No.5. Another room that I spent a lot of time in was the Haute Couture room, filled with many of Chanel’s classic dresses. The dresses were on mannequins that had a light all the way through it, illuminating the garments in a dark room. As I studied fashion photography at University my favourite room was “Bijoux de Diamants”, portraits. I am so glad I was able to visit this exhibition, it was absolutely breathtaking.
